Shakira apologizes for starting her first concert in Mexico City late

After playing her first concert in Mexico City, Shakira issued a statement in which she apologized to fans for starting the show late claiming that the delay was due to the fact that she was incorrectly informed about the start time of her show: 



Despite promising to ensure it won't happen again, she arrived for her second concert almost 2 hours late.

You absolutely can't expect to come up with an apology like that, its almost like mocking. But  no apology could ever justify the unprofessionalism

Honestly like HOW can you be late 2 hours. What was she even doing that 2 hours. 
 

I would have been ready at 19:00 for a show at 20:30 haha.

she was also almost 2 hours late for her 3rd concert
I saw a comment from her fan who tried to justify her by saying that Mexicans are not punctual and if she had started on time, no one would be there
she was supposed to start at 7:00

I know you can't always be on time but popstars are chilling a bit too much with it. Dunno how it is with rock or rap stars.

Idk about rap but this is a classic rock move, edging the fans in the audience for hours and getting “fake fans” to leave before the show starts. Yet I never see articles about rock men being late, just when pop girls are.
