It's like saying Madonna's best is True Blue... I don't see the excitement about it lmao (I've been a Monster since pretty much the beginning) In my opinion, The Fame Monster has this bias of being short, like, it only has 8 songs, she had to make sure every song counted and there was no space for meh music, so most people have the illusion it’s a near-perfect album when in reality it is unfair to compare it to the other bigger albums. I do think TFM is great, don’t get me wrong, I just think that if it was a 15-song album maybe it would have some fillers and people would perceive it as not as great. If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating. 1
banjosnap 134 Posted yesterday at 07:14 PM Share Posted yesterday at 07:14 PM Including ASIB & excluding Harlequin immediately flatlands this list. It's not the list of honesty, it's clickbait. How do we know? Quality is subjective, sales are factual & this list hasn't used either. Not even popularity. It's a tumblr post at best. 1. Born This Way 2. ARTPOP 3. The Fame Monster 4. MAYHEM 5. A Star is Born 6. The Fame 7. Cheek to cheek 8. Chromatica 9. Joanne 10. Harlequin 11. Love for Sale 12. Joker Folie a deux OST 13. Top Gun: Maverick OST. This is the real list. Argue with the wall. 1

lastpopicon 12,112 Posted yesterday at 07:15 PM Share Posted yesterday at 07:15 PM I can't rank her albums, it depends on mood and feelings. TF will always be 1# though The melody that you choose can rescue you 1 1

It came out at the peak of her career, and people let the slayage cloud their judgment. Exactly this. I get the nostalgia, but if I had to show a non-gaga listener what her artistry is, TFM wouldn't be my first option... not even the second Edited yesterday at 07:43 PM by elegidadedios

Imagine putting The Fame anywhere but 2nd to the bottom and Chromatica anywhere but deep below the rest I get the impact of Just Dance, Poker Face, Paparazzi and Lovegame and overall Gaga's debut explosion but thank God she has outdone herself. The Fame will always be that iconic debut but it's not in her Top 3 anymore. 11 minutes ago, PartySick said: Shame some stans have to be so antagonistic about it just 'cause they can't use poppers and get drunk in the club to most of the songs John Wayne -> Dancin' In Circles -> Perfect Illusion is a great poppers trio. 4

There was a reaction channel that pegged The Fame perfectly imo, kinda like you just did. They said it was a well crafted debut album that basically ensured no matter what singles they picked, it'd be a hit, and she'd take off. It's a great launch point and I'm glad she lowkey revisited the spirit of that album with Mayhem but it'll always be near the bottom of my rankings 🧡Should go home but the party wants me🧡
