They were drunk to put Chromatica higher than ARTPOP but at least they aknowledge her recent works. :vegas:

I know right? ARTPOP is so much bolder and fun.

Judas is coming, let the cultural baptism begin.

“….Also why are they including ASIB?”

Well Gaga wrote/produced/ or both on the majority of that soundtrack so it stands to be up with the other official releases.

produced only/didn’t write: Black Eyes, La Vie En Rose, Maybe It’s Time, and Diggin’ My Grave.

wrote/co-wrote/produced: Alibi, Shallow, Music To My Eyes, Always Remember Us This Way, Look What I Found, Heal Me, I Don’t Know What Love Is, Is That Alright?, Why Did You Do That?, Hair Body Face, Before I Cry, and I’ll Never Love Again.

Those stats speak for themselves, imo.

The whole classification system about what does and doesn't constitute an album is starting to get real confusing since Harlequin. Sometimes these lists include her but exclude C2C, but ASIB is included which is itself a collab with Bradley? As a fanbase we should just do this:

LG1: The Fame

LG2: The Fame Monster

LG3: Born This Way

LG4: ARTPOP

LG5: Cheek To Cheek

LG6: Joanne

LG7: A Star Is Born

LG8: Chromatica

LG9: Love For Sale

LG10: Harlequin

LG11: Mayhem

IS NO ONE GOING TO HELP ME WITH THE POST OFFICE?!

All of you acting like Chromatica is a piece of trash, probably because we have bad memories of it due to Covid, and praising Joanne, probably because we link it to the superbowl, when the only good tracks on that album are DH, PI and MR. It is by far her most boring album, and not something to revisit after all those years.

Also I wont stand the ASIB slander here, that album has some of her best songs lyrically and melody wise. Only the Bradley songs and duets bring it down for me

I don’t think Chromatica is trash by any means. But the final production of the album and short track lengths disappointed me. Joanne was her first album where her true vocals really shined which is why I stack Joanne higher than Chromatica. I will admit the pandemic really threw a wrench in everything is could have been, but the music itself just fell short imo. Don’t get me wrong, I really like that album and what it stands for in terms of healing and whatnot. I just feel differently from every other piece of art she’s put out there. Love Chromatica, but one of them had to be last.

Joanne is great. Billboard take numbers and charts into consideration far too much. The Taylor Swift of the critics.

LG7: A Star Is Born

LG8: Chromatica

LG9: Love For Sale

LG10: Harlequin

LG11: Mayhem

i mean honestly, in the countdown for this era (mayhem) she had the scratch card thing on her website which stated:

LG1 - The Fame

LG2 - The Fame Monster

LG3 - Born This Way

LG4 - ARTPOP

LG5 - Joanne

LG6 - Chromatica

LG6.5 - Harlequin (idk why maybe she feels some personal attachment to it, or maybe it was supposed to signify the bridge between Chromatica and Mayhem sonically idk idk)

LG7 - Mayhem

any other album should not be counted as a "Gaga" album because this is straight from Gaga herself. it shouldn't be that complicated. and yeah ASIB is critically acclaimed and has Shallow which was a big hit, but the album is a soundtrack album and not one she includes on her album list. same goes for her Jazz albums (perhaps they hold a different place in Gaga's heart and thats why shes not counting them).

Billboard should have paid attention to Gaga's count down to Mayhem on her website
