It sort of scared me when I first saw it in the best way, it's so confronting and aggressive and so random - from the cosmic imagery to the spider-like figure to the camera lens to the finale with Gaga in the liquid ballgown, creation of Gaga? creation of Chromatica? I think the original Chromatica visuals were great, but with the costuming of the music videos in mind... I think that concept would've looked really cheap on stage tbh. It's not about the meaning but the context. I was almost certain she already used the Gareth Pugh dress for an interlude but i can't find it maybe some of you may remember better ? Edit : I think that she merged with the city now. In the MB interlude she's naked in the city and now she is the massive black shape in the frame. QueenMortuana 1,212 Posted March 19, 2025 Share Posted March 19, 2025 I feel like the colorful imagery of the beginning of Chromatica would've ended up being pretty similar to parts of the artrave in a live setting. Although I did like those visuals in the beginning of the era. I'm glad we got something that matched the lyrics of Chromatica and how she was feeling during the creation of the album.
