Me voting for The Fame. Poker Face is genius. To me, her most innovative production.

Narrowing it even further.

DJWS, Garibay, Andrew Watt & Cirkut are the GOATs.

I'd love for Gaga to link up with Fernando Garibay again. I find his work just utterly brilliant to listen to. The Kylie + Garibay mini era should have been an entire album.

BTW held my favorite Gaga song, Heavy Metal Lover, which evolved like a Pokémon that is now Disease on Mayhem. The same can be said into Marry The Night into Shadow of a Man

Mayhem has Disease, Garden of Eden, Shadow of a Man, Abracadabra, and Lovedrug.

But I'm still conflicted.

I fell asleep. Abracadabra, Perfect Celebrity, Vanish Into You, How Bad Do U Want Me, Killah,  Zombieboy, Don't Call Tonight, The Beast, Blade of Grass, Die with a Smile are all very replayable however. :iamfair:

I'm not getting any sleep tonight because I woke up to a beautiful life. I'm awake.

TFM and Mayhem are her best produced albums imo. TFM really defined Gaga’s sound, and every song is just so unique and interesting. With Mayhem you just can tell that it’s very carefully crafted, there’s so much love and passion for the art form. It’s like listening to a masterclass in music production.

RedOne and Fernando Garibay have created some of my FAVORITE songs in her discography. She truly makes magic with both of them.

Bad Romance, Poker Face, Scheisse, Judas, Alejandro (and many more) have become Gaga classics. I think RedOne was a huge part of helping her find her sound. The two of them make such a powerful team. I hope one day they work together again... I'm curious what they would create at this stage of her career.

Fernando Garibay is a magician... he created incredible productions on Born This Way. His sound was way ahead of its time and this alone should have earned a Grammy. To this day, no other artist has made un-earthly pop music like Born This Way. It's quite impressive if you really think about it.

Marry The Night and Dance In The Dark are TOP TIER pop songs. I still listen to them regularly.

EDIT: And to put everything into perspective, Gaga made these songs when she was in her early 20s. She was just a kid!!! So smart and creative... I'm so proud of her.

This isn’t even close… MAYHEM is the kind of production perfection that wins AOTY at the Grammys

It's MAYHEM by a mile. This album has the best production of her entire discography.

Honestly I think Gaga, Watt, Cirkut and Gesaffelstein has been such a great team this time and she seems to have been in a great place making music for Mayhem.

There’s obviously the team for Born This Way and even ARTPOP but she has talked several times about not been taking serious as a musician. I know she’s in good terms with RedOne and DJWS but not Garibay anymore so who knows what was going on during that time.

I can see her getting together again with Mayhem producers to record a follow up and would love that.

I'd say BTW because of its uniqueness but MAYHEM has a certain level of quality no other Gaga album has achieved.

i legit can't decide between born this way and mayhem

i did mayhem for the poll though and also because it's production is easily the most polished

We got a new producers trinity guys :worship2:

The Saint Andrew Watt, aka a lucky guy who dated the queen of pop Rita Ora. Idk what else I could say about him, he seems like a nice person and work with elder rockstars.

The Saint Cirkut. This guy dated Ava Max and was her producer, she used to be a "competitor" of Gaga at the time... Then he got his redemption arc and decided to work with Gaga. He gave a flop song to Katy (Woman's world) and a hit song to Gaga (Abracadabra). He's on our side now.

cirkut_2-scaled.jpg

And the Saint Gesaffelstein... In appearance, he's mysterious and the few popular artists he worked with are all perceveid as serious artists. This guy tried to erase his past by deleting his social medias, etc... But I saw his boiler room cocaine video.

Anyway, their work with Gaga was incredibly well done. The album is not overproduced, the layers are prefectly done. They're not toxic collaborators, they're mature artists who's collaboration ended up being greatly receveid both by fans and critics. :applause:

Production on Mayhem is STUNNING.  Had this kind of production been done with ARTPOP, it would have made many of those songs much better (Sexxx Dreams, I’m looking at you).

On 3/15/2025 at 8:15 PM, Nagini said:

Thank you for saying this. I was legit just thinking about how overproduced Sexxx Dreams is... could've been one of the best songs of her career if the production felt raw like the iTunes festival.

Surprised to see ARTPOP low, I think it had some of the best production on any album. Aura, Venus and DWUW sounded incredible

I think we are beginning to hold him to an uncomfortably high regard, and creating an antagonist out of Bloodpop for no reason.

He’s been a beacon for her, and an influence helping her decisions, but he isn’t an infallible music genius. Nor does he call the shots or dictate who Gaga works with, Gaga does…

It's a toss up for me between BTW and Mayhem, I only gave it to Mayhem because it's produced to the T while for me BTW is just a tad overproduced at times, but both teams are great honestly and these two are her best music sonically imho.

18 hours ago, jimmytimestep said:

The other albums in her discography may have some better *songwriting*, but the *production* on MAYHEM is completely unparalleled in her discography. Consistent, clean, daring, sonically vibrant

also, Chromatica gets way too much hate lately. Remember that those guys made a dance album out of what I bet were presented to them as 30+ heavy ballads. There was some real creativity there. And I give credit to Gaga as well for going with the flow.
