chromaticainmyhead 6,512
If you were a producer at Interscope and were working with Gaga on the album roll out what would you've done differently? What singles would you propose? Would you demand changes in terms of production? What is your take on the tracklist? Obviously this is meant to be fun, so please keep it lighthearted Here's mine: Album with 5 videos Lead Single : "Can't Stop The High" with performance premiere at an awards show, video the same night. Surprise release with a surprise performance at a big awards show. The performance is reminiscent of the "Paparazzi" VMA's performance with heavy theatrics, costumes and choreography and even a shocker at the end, very early The Fame Gaga but with the sound and aesthetic of Mayhem. The video follows the same concept and is reminiscent of The Fame. Second Single : "Disease" as the second single with a ft. of an old legend maybe Elton John, no performance but a video with 13 min+ reminiscent of the Marry The night video where she tells a very personal story that is connected to Elton John (or another pop icon, very self-referential, looking back on her career and describing the way Fame has changed her into a poisoned human being). As a producer I'd propose to make the song more "Zombieboy" like, less radio-friendly but more experimental and bold in the Michael Jackson references but the sound doesn't change much from what we got from the actual "Disease". I'd prefer the choreo in the video be more like "Thriller" reminiscent to be a key factor for the song to become very popular. She wears theatrical costumes, it's even a bit gory and shocking but very 80s like. Inspiration from the movie "Carrie" where she is being held by an inner demon. Promo Singles : "Abracadabra" as the first promo single which is also sent to radios along the Album release, also with a dance video meant to evoke TikTok and "Killah" as another promo single when the tour gets announced, just a lyric video Third and final Single : "Zombieboy" during the tour with a video from the acoustic performance from the tour to close the era, hitting radios, maybe another TV Performance at the Grammys the following year in a medley. In terms of production I'd propose to make the song more Born This Way like, more church bells, meant to target the LGBTQ audience and heavily reminiscent of the 'Born This Way' video where it is an open anthem to Zombieboy Time Plan: Lead Single October Second Single February Album Late May Promo Single Album Middle of May Promo Single Killah in June Third Single November Tracklist: 1. "Can't Stop The High" 2. "Abracadabra" 3. "Disease" 5. "Killah" 6. "How Bad Do You Want Me" 7. "Garden Of Eden" 8. "Perfect Celebrity" 9. "Shadow Of A Man" 10. "Love Drug" 11. Taumaturg0 117
I think they've been doing GREAT so far. I'd only add a Tiny Desk performance closer to the Coachella dates or even tour announcement, they go viral all the time.

qoqo 3,343
Anyway, on topic… they’re doing great so far Now singles wise I would do April 11th (first Coachella day) Garden Of Eden single & video August 29th Zombieboy single & video just in time to be a hit on Halloween October 14th Vanish Into You single & video, wholesome and beautiful song for the holidays
InsomniaMonster69 3,213
The only thing I would add is disease live performance during release week and Abra performance a week after release
