Singapore shows NOT part of an exclusive deal

This article from the South China Morning Post states that the four shows Gaga is playing in Singapore are NOT due to an exclusive grant deal with the country.

This leads many to wonder why Singapore is the only stop in Asia, as Live Nation confirmed earlier today.

Thank god… but it’s weird that said it’s the only show in Asia tho… why does Singapore know she’s definitely not doing a show in The Philippines, Thailand or Japan?

I’m confused, are these shows part of a tour or standalone shows?  And if they’re standalone shows, will she go back to those cities during the tour?

I read that because stadium tours are really expensive to bring around the world, Asia leg options are extremely limited due to cultural and economic reasons 

I don’t see her coming back to Japan this time, Singapore is probably going to make her twice the amount of money that Taylor made

Live Nation / Ticketmaster are the ones who announced that SG are the only Asia shows. The Culture Minister in SG is the one who confirmed that they didn't pay her to only stop there.

I was hoping she would surprise us in Australia since Garden of Eden is also the song used for the F1 Grand Prix which starts in Melbourne. Fingers crossed she makes it to Australia. Cannot afford to travel to Singapore, an expensive place, and pay hotel, airfare etc on top of all other costs and tickets.

She's doing the entire Born This Way Ball show as it was with Mayhem from start to finish as Encore.

Maybe it's because she is going to have honeymoon in Bali or Phuket, it's only 2.5 hours or 1.5hrs away, respectively, from Singapore, like SG (so far) the last stop of that international performances schedule, she can relax after that and enjoy Bali or Phuket, who knows?
