I think it stands out to me bc it sounds like a pop song that was made in a lab lol. It's too perfect - which is why I think it's a deliberate Taylor/teen girl pop homage that fits the "good girl vs bad girl" theme 

Eh Eh and Fashion Of His Love are sugary sweet but they still have some kind of twist imo. How Bad follows the recipe too closely for me to enjoy it (for now )

(and Gaga of all people using "ripped up jeans" as a reference for being a bad girl is so funny to me. Like, this has to be from the perspective of a teen )

It is the same reason why the visually challenged resisted songs like "Plastic Doll", and "Fashion Of His Love": you have to be hot to connect with them, you won't get it if you're a jumpscare, it is what it is.
