That's amazing that she's happy and has seemingly found the love of her life. Beautifully said! We wish her the best!!! how u mention isolating I think it too, esp since Bo isn't by her side & she saw her thru dangerous times. Mentioning him constantly in interviews you do have a point its.. Yeah..alot.

Id say they’re 3 crucial members of her team and friends who’ve literally turned her from what was gonna be a faded pop star after ARTPOP to legend status. Sarah has created Gaga’s perfect signature face and knows it well, Gaga’s signature makeup is very no makeup makeup and also good for her skin and not heavy like jt was when Tara and Billy B used to do her old signature makeup of like full coverage foundation little to no blush and a bold red or pink lip (fun fact Sarah often just uses layered tinted moisturiser unless it’s onstage or red carpet where she uses Haus Labs for that) 

Freddy is literally responsible for Gaga having an almost pretty Nicole Kidman style unclockable wigs, alongside being able to make sure her wigs stay ON during performances. Like when has Gaga like EVER lost a wig onstage or had a face tape pop etc. I’ve lost my wig in drag at least once before for example.

Yeah I’m not a celebrity makeup artist obviously so I don’t know everything but I’ve had the privilege of meeting some in my time (Val Garland and Scott Barnes were my fave I almost died meeting them). A common thing they say is because of the age of the internet now everyone’s an MUA if they have some skills, but they often say time management is a really bad thing amongst almost every influencer makeup person they’ve met. Scott didn’t name names but he said a big makeup influencer once dropped out last minute of doing NYFW makeup when they were told how long they get and had do 10 models makeup in it.

And funny you bring up Pat and Val, they both infamously do either soft runway makeup or “messy” editorial makeup or graphic eyes. Which Gaga always has had all the above since Sarah became her makeup artist. Sure Sarah slays minimal no makeup looks the most but I’ve seen her do some amazing makeup most notably during the HOG campaign.

I’m not saying Sarah’s perfect but she knows Gaga’s face well. Plus Val and Pat have worked with her loads of times before in the past, they’re busy women and can’t be personal MUAs anyway.

So insightful thank you! I really hope Val or Pat will work with gaga again in the near future for the upcoming shows and tour. 

I agree Sarah knows gaga’s face well but It’s more refreshing to see her switching up the glam team like she did in DWAS. I’m sure Sarah is here to stay as they have a strong personal relationship but whenever she misses the mark, it really shows and kills the vibe badly. Yes, I know Sarah has delivered iconic looks like the Met, Super Bowl, all the Grammys and Oscars’ and gaga often request the messy and imperfect look, sure Sarah can deliver but a change of dynamic now and then in her existing team will do no harm.

Ngl, I am so bored of gaga still looking like the CBT poster

It's coming from some popjustice forum user, who heard it third hand from some random writer on SNL, who heard it second hand from who-knows-where. For all anyone knows, whoever is allegedly getting fired could be pressed and be blaming it all on her man - if they've been working for her for years, they might be extra pressed if they've been getting away with stuff for years, but now that Michael is here, the buck has suddenly stopped. 

Anyhow, I think that anyone getting all worked up should probably chill because at the end of the day, Gaga apparently has a prenup, and Gaga is a rich, powerful adult woman. I understand why some are worried because Michael is intertwined with her business side now, but I think if god forbid things ever go south, Gaga will be fine, she'll get a breakup album out of it, and keep her money. From what I see, Michael is being consulted because Gaga wants his advice, he's a very successful Harvard grad, you can't do much better than that business-wise.

Also, if I were to take a guess, the person who got let go was likely her homophobic bassist Jonny Good, who was notably absent last night during her performance of Killah. If that's the case, good riddance.
