Now that we’ve heard MAYHEM in all of its glory, I feel like Happy Mistake would have fit on it perfectly. Thoughts?

I agree both sonically and visually (my head is filled with broken mirrors) it fits

gaga, halsey, lorde, taylor, dua

I agree, had the same thought earlier when it started playing after the album finished and it didn't sound out of place!

It would have been perfect in that section around The Beast and Blade of Grass

Yes she should have added it instead of the Taylor song. Would have been a perfect album.

Yes. I was thinking the same yesterday, when listening to Mayhem for the first time.

Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

I really like Blade of Grass, but Happy Mistake is a stronger ballad imo. I mean, that chorus! I would have loved for HM to replace BoG, but that's such a nitpick.

The album is a ten for me. HM would have made it an eleven.

Happy Mistake is better than 1/3 of MAYHEM so it would have absolutely elevated it imo.

Anything to replace How Bad Do U Want Me, honestly

Agree 100%, but blame JFAD. Harlequin was meant to cash in on JFAD-mania, and Happy Mistake was selected as a strong single to fit the JFAD vibe, but ..... alas poor Yorick.

Although the song is glorious and, in some way, it fits lyrically...i find mayhem a very joyfull and happy album. And Happy Mistake is very, very sad...the album would end on a sad note, but with DWAS (or even Blade of Grass), it's still hopefull and resilient

I’m 100% convinced it was meant to be on Mayhem but she decided to put it in Harlequin for whatever reason

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.
