Quartz 12,524
When I listen to Mayhem, it seems to have...soul that's exclusive to this Gaga work. I feel a legit sense of authenticity with the sound of each song like she's not trying to fit a certain theme but the whole album melds together beautifully. Is it just me? Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊 5 1

Mister Gaga 22,889
Absolutely. When Gaga said she was going back to her earlier music, she didn’t mean TFM. She meant literally her first music. Earlier The Fame demos, on steroids. Camp, bowiesque, prince, all very disco heaven, retro dance freak, money honey…im so happy with this new album, im proud of her 5 4
SlowLoris 1,064
It feels very "Stefani Germanotta". Like, it reminds me of those old videos of her performing songs on her keyboard in bars. I know she said she took a lot of inspiration from the 90s, but something about it feels kinda... Mid-2000s ?? It's so interesting 1
K e n 718
Don’t Call Tonight is the only song that feels lacking, to think some thought it’d be Telephone Part II. But I really can’t say anything even close to negative about this album. She really delivered some of her best work yet. A mix of genres with a little bit of everything for everyone.
Economy 49,535
I think Gaga in general has become WAY more authentic the last 5-8 years in general.  Early in her career her answers always sounded either very rehearsed or whatever fit with her stage persona. Its hard to remember specific examples now but there was so many times shed say things I thought was total bullsh&t  Now she gives answers that make sense and seem genuine and I much prefer that Gaga. It also comes across more humble tbh  Edited March 7 by Economy
