i felt like this song was one of faves on first listen. Don't really remember how it goes now but it's bit more simple but very addictive. It's one of those chromatica wishes it had been done this way

The beat and guitars really drive it and kinda give it that feeling of pulling the narrative forward, only taking a break from the "droning" for Gaga to explode for a bit. And by the end of the song when some of the driving beats have fallen out it gives a different vibe. Idk how to describe it.

Kinda like moving from "I know it's over! " to "...it's really over, I know "

She and the producers really killed the sonic story telling. Even though I would have liked a bit more dissonance and contortion on the album as a whole the songs as individuals really shine so well
