Tbh, both chromatica and mayhem seems to draw HUGE inspiration from the past music eras and genres.

So I think this is a valid opinion/feeling. Kinda biased tho, as I feel the same way.

I can’t say anything 100% now as I haven’t heard the album but I hope mayhem (even with alot of nostalgic sounds and inspiration) or another album in the future pushes a new sound that feels ”fresh”.

Mayhem may seem fresh but I think it will be familiar in terms of genres bending, so maybe not a ” totally” new sound.

I loved Abra and Disease both equally in production and music/instrumentally. The lyrics are what I am questioning the most and are on edge for this album…

I don't really care about what genres it's using in general, though I didn't like the genre of music Chromatica was inspired by. But I want the songs themselves to have that crazy edge that make them stand out from pop music in general.

Oh guys you make me question my patience :traumatica:

I will not listen until the album on 7th March.

Now I hear there are The Fame songs sounds and I love to hear that and would like to listen, too, but I will continue to wait until the album comes in full. Personally, I like both, but I am living for The Fame, for the hot blondes :sis:

she's already stated the album is chaos (hence the title lmao) so it won't lean towards any genre.

member what she said a few months ago "when you press play, after the first few songs, you think you know what you're getting into, but then, you don’t."

I personally prefer the dark pop so i hope we get more tracks like disease and abra :excited:

Indeed. I am just thinking now how she said she wrote Abra after Disease, because she needed to have another song to keep up with that hard hitting sound

And for all the people getting offended at this question (:saladga:), and even though she has said there will be multiple genres, I was expecting rock, funk, industrial pop but all leaning towards a darker music (look at the asthetic of the era)

I am still so looking forward to it and it is NO bad for God's sake

She confirmed it's not a blended album so I guess we'll get many genres and vibes
