People don't realise how much money a billion actually is, let alone HUNDREDS of billions. This one human has over 300-thousand-million. Imagine a million dollars. What you could do with it. Now imagine having 380-thousand of those

He could buy 380,000 houses worth a million dollars each and still have enough money to live in the lap of luxury. I just looked it up, at the last census my city had around 54,900 dwellings. He could buy every house in my entire city almost 7 x over. Apparently there's around 300,000 houses in Boston. So he could buy every home/dwelling in the state of Boston and still live luxuriously

I genuinely don't get how he's made that much money? I mean he owns SpaceX, Tesla (which are still fairly rare to see in the UK anyway from what I've seen) and twitter?

A big part of his money is tied up to tesla stock.

And tesla stock is overvalued because they are considered a tech company. Even though all competitors have EV's now with software solutions just as capable as tesla.... I'm not even convinced they will be the first to achieve fully self-driving cars, one of the big reasons the stocks are so overvalued imo.

 

VOLKSWAGEN has 56 billion market cap and in 2024 sold 9.03M cars, tesla sold 1.8M cars on the same year, yet, their market cap is a whooping 911 BILLION.

I think it's all coming crushing down really soon tbh and I can't wait for that to happen.
