First of all, R's already got a legacy. She was releasing albums at the pace of once a year for a long time,

and she never stopped improving herself and going deeper until her magnum opus ANTI.... 

I think the gap she's putting, focusing on her kids and a quieter carreer is not only well deserved but SO CLEVER...

She's consistent when she says that she wants to dig for something good.

(there was a whole essay calling out misogny and capitalism entwined.... i think it's taking away tf that none of this matters anyway so why not enjoying the wait like one enjoys the trip ?)

Guys you don’t forget she gave birth to two kids during these 8 years, I’m sure she was waiting for the first to be old enough so she could go back to business but then she got pregnant again

I had been so hyped for new Rihanna and slowly just lost interest over the years. If she comes back to music, cool. But if not, okay. She’s already proven herself as an artist and business woman. Im just pretty indifferent at this point
