This rehearsal slaps more than some folks finished videos.

Ngl I wish they kept the choreo/staging from the beginning of verse 2. Not only is it fierce, it would send the satanic panic crowd into pure hysterics.

OMG, that was great. As a fan who has been stanning since 08, I really do think this is the best she has ever moved in her career. Parris outdid Laurianne IMO. On Youtube someone compared Gaga becoming a vessel for Parris in the way she did for Alexander McQueen and her other artistic collaborators etc., and I think that's 100% accurate. They collaborated so well here. This is literal art. 

I really love that part around 2:30 when they start out chaotic looking with those spastic movements (reminiscent of Thriller), but then start using the canes and it comes more controlled. That had to have been difficult to pull that off, but that transition from chaotic to controlled is perfectly executed.

It reminded me of K-Pop too. Speaking of which, I feel like Abracadabra is like a culmination of where she was initially headed with Venus with the different hooks all rolled into one song (very K-Pop), but I find Abracadabra much better than Venus (don't hate me Venus stans), it's far more elevated, more interesting, and shows her evolution. She knocked it out of the park on all levels with this one.

I really love how that wasn't just a dance rehearsal, but based on how they set up and edited the video it was a full technical demo of the music video shoot itself. I know it's very unlikely this was edited and finished before the actual edit of the video (even if it was shot beforehand), but on the off hand it was, really shows how well planned and executed the production was.

Agreed. Laurieann’s moves were individually more memorably iconic so far but Gaga was still a bit stiff dancing and getting used to that side of being pop star. This is very much a woman who has iconic moves AND knows how to feel her joosh in them. Hello fellow OG fan

And who said there can’t be multiple lifts in one video?  (Also they show her being lifted in this crucifixion pose during the first pre-chorus for a split second, so there are already multiple lifts in this video )

I wish they could've kept the 2nd verse  and delete some of the chair scene...and add the Mayhem hand gestures and it would have served more I think. I really hope the fan version will have new scenes
