Zander 14,944 Posted February 27, 2025 Share Posted February 27, 2025 I just don't think they've quite found the art style that suits there games in this 3d era of Pokemon, I think that Lets Go Pikachu was the closest they got to that. They look like NPC’s from any other possible game. Like drop any human design into another monster turn base game and they fit in. The haven’t found the “Pokemon” signature look for their human characters and that makes the art direction not land, beside the obvious lack in graphics. It’s giving lack of confidence. they better delay it to 2026 if it’s not polished and bug-free. I’ll skip the game entirely if there is another scarlet/violet mess.
