State of alert in 2 Romanian counties after RO/Moldova airspace breach by Russia

A new series of attacks with unmanned aerial vehicles took place on infrastructure targets in Ukraine, in the vicinity of the river border with Romania, in the area of Reni, with RO-ALERT messages being issued for the population of Tulcea and Galaţi.

Sunday night's attack comes after last week, on Wednesday, a Russian drone entered Romanian airspace and 2 other drones landed on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

The aerial target briefly crossed the national airspace, near the town of Reni, at a depth of approximately 1 km inland, then headed towards Ukrainian airspace. At the same time, a possible impact area was reported on the national territory, near the Romanian-Ukrainian border.
