And people still pretend it is doing well?

this was already mostly expected tbh. Not great, but we can always re aim for a re-peak on release week. :Lurk:

We also have to mention the Kendrick boost, he's huge right now and that's not ideal for abracadabra position.

The melody that you choose can rescue you

Why would interscope promo Gagz when Kendrick is their golden sheep right now? Probably they are waiting SB effect to die down and then they will push. Radio wise it is starting to climb.

Just trust the process.

Batwings

I have such mixed emotions about this. On one hand, I don't give a flying crap about the charts. Gaga is the only mainstream pop artist I follow, and #30 on the BB 100 is amazing for me. On the other hand, I get so pissed at Interscope sometimes. Where are the physical releases? Where are the vinyls? I'm not even asking for a shaped picture disc. I just want a 7" at this point!

They post early predictions on several songs every week. Its a way to kinda know what we are working with for thus upcoming week.

OP: If its #30 of the third week, it probably gonna land at #45 in its forth week perhaps and maybe #55-65 by the time Mayhem drops. Stan twitter is gonna have a field day 💀

We’re gonna need some serious streaming to help the song bounce back all the way from low 50’s to top 10 at least.

I mean that’s fine lol it’s still a good song that critics liked and we did who cares what elon musk’s parasitic tamagotchis think lol

A Very Gaga Holida

When will her team and her desperately defensive fans realize and/or admit that she just needs to promote her work to a wide audience for it to smash when it’s that well recieved?

It’s literally been obvious since she performed A-YO and Million Reasons on SNL in October 2016.

I think it will probably rise to Top 20 again in the fourth week when Drake's songs free fall and Kendrick's songs slow down. I could see it having a better chart run than Stupid Love. Some of y'all are panicking as if this song is flopping hard :laughga: Seriously Abracadabra can even be in Top 10 with these numbers under normal circumstances. Now, it's chances for Top 10 is the Mayhem release week.

I think both things can be true at once. The song is amazing, fans loved it and it definitely had a cute debut.

On the other hand, the song was frontloaded and Gaga’s team is frustrating to look at from a promo/album roll out (which can be something fans enjoy JUST for the sake of having content and not just chart positions).

I wish fans were more aware like you. As soon as someone raises concerns about her not doing well on charts without well executed promotion, you get chastised and called chart obsessed, when it’s really just an observation (backed by numbers, mind you), that Gaga is promo sensitive and rn, well they’re not really doing much with the tools we know they have.
