Is this all you care about? Career defining, image, no more awards... What an utterly vain and shallow-brained view on Lady Gaga and her legacy, especially considering what she tried to teach people during her 17 years long career. It seems as though you have either missed all of her attempts to dismantle the very things you are spouting off about, or you simply chose to ignore them to instead impose your own definition of what a "Pop star" has to "deliver" during an interview on her. What a shame!

Well, they say don't feed the trolls... but I'm so bored right now, I couldn't resist :ohwell:

It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead.

I'm sad that she wasn't briefed properly.

- pointing the fire-mouth chicken, not knowing it's been the Hot Ones logo for years
- asking permissions for normal stuff
- asking things like "was that a good answer/am I entertaining right now" breaks the flow of the interview

It was cute, but I don't see it making much waves or being memed in the future:

"Look at us" with Paul Rudd
"This one has a little sweetness to it" with Keke Palmer
"Has anyone ever sued you" with Sabrina Carpenter
Shaq's *o* face

First off, I respect your opinion. Life would be quite boring without people being able to discuss their different points of view. So please do not think of my response as "bashing".

Personally, I always love it when Gaga seems a bit "clumsy" or "scatterbrained", since it's so endearing watching her navigate these little bloopers. During the interview, she just seemed so honest and funny, relaxed even.

Where I heavily disagree with you, is the part about your expectations of the interview having to "make waves", or become a "meme". Isn't that exactly what Gaga has been trying to dismantle throughout her long career? Of course an interview or show appearance is always promo of some sort. But not everything has to be manufactured to be as likeable or "memeable" as possible, and I much prefer a person that's just being honest and relaxed. Especially considering how manufactured everything has become in todays world. Gaga stands out, at least for me.

Again, no hate, just my point of view, so paws up

That's the perfect word for it. Endearing.

The GP eats up her cute weirdness. You think she planned on "there can be 100 people in a room and 99 don't believe in you" becoming a thing? No way.

She's naturally such an engrossing and endearing person. When she's being herself the people will love it.

Besides, I'd be shocked if we didn't get a meme or two out of this :icant:

I've been re watching this and I think it's so funny how she clearly has never seen the show before. It just makes it more real how she clearly had no expectations going into it. Most guests are fans of the show, and I feel like bc of this they try to play up their reactions a bit, so it's nice how she seemed very genuine. She was shook at the bomb though, as soon as she said "ok well" and went in for a bite I was scared for her, she clearly didn't know how bad it was lmao

TheFriend

This one is for the books :kara:

I love how the questions progressed into a deeper level about Gaga's life before fame. My first time watching this show, and made me really emotional. I wish interviews were more like this.

two things:

1. what is that outfit??? lol. way overdressed to eat wings :ladyhaha: but good for her for surviving till the last one!

2. I feel sorry for that guy's stomach. it must be completely burned after 10 years of eating these, seriously. :messga:

Oh yeah, it doesn't even have a good hot sauce flavor. It's just straight up acid!!
