If we compare Gaga’s streaming figures for today alone with Madonna’s streaming figures for the entire 80s and 90s, Gaga has far more streams

It's actually interesting to compare what the two of them have made with their careers since 2013. 

The way Gaga diversified her portfolio. She stepped out of the pop gimmick a bit to warm up her relationship with the GP. She got close with legends, she showed her musicianship and talent as a writer. She cemented her position as multidisciplinary talent and versatile queen. And she just knows how to make you feel something inside. 

Katy's target public in the early 2010 was mostly teenage girls and she struggled reinventing herself to grow as an artist with her public. And she never really had much to say. Like, she's a campy cworky singer, but I always found her kinda hollow. She makes me feel nothing. And she's been trying too hard with 143.
