NOTE: Since people love to push stuff like this on these threads, no, this is not me being toxic or ungrateful about any music release. I think stuff like this is interesting to discuss because it's simply interesting.

It's in the poll. What do we think? If Abracadabra becomes big should single three be pushed to after the album?

Yes - Abra seems to be a perfect lightning in a bottle moment, and it would be great for single #3 to capitalise off that. Releasing it nearer to album release will probably give it more success than if it’s released a few months later, even if abra overshadows it and it doesn’t perform super well on the charts

A new single with a music video on album release date would do amazing tbh

Oh I didn’t expect another song before the album drops 🤷‍♂️ might be wrong idk

Although I feel like Abracadabra IS a huge hit - I keep seeing it everywhere. The only thing I’d maybe expect is a physical release of Abracadabra (hopefully with remixes)

I would say give time to Abracadabra to breathe on its own, but I also want more songs from Mayhem asap :huntyga:

Nah drop it after the album releases. If Abra remains a hit it will needs its momentum for at least a month. Splitting that attention won't do either singles much good.

But as a fan of course I want more :cheeky:

I could see a promo single a few days before the album drops.

The next proper single should be dropped around Coachella in my opinion

Id say they’re gonna wait till the album comes out, Abra and DWAS will totally repeak into the top 10 (DWAS might even go #1 again) and Disease might even enter the top 10 since it’s the first song on the album anyway.

Then whatever song the fans love the most they might make a video for it before she goes on tour, to promote the tour.

Mister Gaga

A promo single needs to come out on February 28, and then the 3rd single in Mid April, right before Coachella. 4th single in August, before the VMAs!

I really feel like the way the industry works, instant gratification is a huge part of the way we consume music now. I have no doubts about that abracadabra has the potential to perform well, but we still have almost a month before the release and it would be a good idea release something else at the halfway point to keep the buzz alive before the album drops. Its hard to keep the public interested in one song for an ENTIRE month (unless its a worldwide hit) and i dont think another single would do any harm.

ABRA is the perfect entry to Mayhem! Just like Judas to BTW

They should wait till the Friday before the album releases. But if Abracadabra stays stable where it's at, I'd say wait till the album release day to drop a new single.

either a week before or album release day for a new single/promo single (if it's successful its the 4th single)

then see if any of the album tracks take off on their own to determine the final single
