Yes but I feel like the intention this gives off is not accurate…. Title gives very desperate vibes….. whereas we know shes not desperate, … she’s simply just ready to be Gaga again, and to enjoy it, for the fans mainly…… the fact this is translating to gp and broader success just speaks to the quality execution and gp being ready for Gaga again, …all after 10+ years (!) of Gaga rebuilding and recalibrating…

and at the same time, she’d not had a solo pop mega hit single since maybe applause, even though applause was not as big as the successful BTW singles.  And since applause she’d never had anything equivalent to what’s happening now with Abracadabra.

but when it came to radio and streams- she had no new mega successful solo pop songs in a very very long time

She had "Shallow", "ARUTW", "Bloody Mary", "Rain On Me".

They all happened and it feels disingenuous to not count then as part of her career. 

Peaks aren't everything.
