Is this moment from the Abracadabra video a deliberate reference?

So this particular pose is a an obvious standout visual from the video.  (and yet another slay by Paris I fear)

But it couldn't help but remind me of THIS famous renaissance painting by Michelangelo. (a 16th century ninja turtle)

This painting is called "The creation of Adam", and depicts God (bearded daddy on the right) creating Adam. 

The section where God is interestingly resembles a human brain, which is commonly thought to be intentional. You can read about it here if you're interested, it's fascinating! 

We know Gaga has referenced renaissance art before in her career, specifically The Birth of Venus,  so I don't think it would be too far fetched. Not to mention there is a song on mayhem called The Garden of Eden. 

I also think that the positioning of Gaga's cape in the pose is eerily similar to the frontal lobe of a human brain.

i see no resemblance sorry lol, it made me think more of french cabaret, like the Mon truc en plume performances of Zizi Jeanmaire she tributed at the olympics

its def not that but she they clearly created a photo/painting and it's absolutely perfect and beautiful

Looks more like Guarnica, but there are many paintings with this kind of tringular shape. with lots of pathos. 

The style is giving something between Tintoretto to Caravaggio more than Michelangelo, more dramatic and the light and dark is kinda the whole thing of that movement.
