somechick 1
I'm screaming at reading these people saying that Live Nation pulled the plug because it wasn't making enough money. These people disgust me as members of the human race. they must be delusional. Just ignore them. ;)
Creyk 17,246
Why did Gaga do all these unnecessary movements, like this slide on the stage (4:55), when she was having intense pain? You would expect her to be doing minimal choreography but she goes full out until the end. I have been watching a bunch of videos from this user: http://www.youtube.c...3/videos?view=0 (best Montreal videos) and you really can't tell she is hurting at all. She is either excellent at hiding it or she was on some heavy pain meds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfejdh0hkJM&feature=player_detailpage#t=295s Because she wanted to give 110%. KidsCowgirl455 0
I can't even imagine how much pain she was in. It truly is a testament to her character, that she kept going for all of us. That's why no one can top her, ever. seriously. who else in the music scene today would do that?
Michael 533
Oh my god I just read this and I'm so sad :( Gaga must be devastated. Not that I really care when it comes to her health, but I guess this means no tour DVD as they were probably going to film it in NYC. So weird, she had no idea her last show would be her very last. Love you Gaga, get well soon!!! XXXXXXXXXX

HermioneGranger 608
Poor Gaga! I'm kind of relieved though, she needs the time to relax before starting ARTPOP, cause when she starts ARTPOP it's going to go on nonstop for a very long time. GOAT 1
Do you think they might have kept the recordings from the big screen for a DVD? When I went to the London show there was a poster saying that the concert would be filmed so maybe they have footage that they will make into a DVD. In the mean time, we should focus on Gaga's health :Jase:
robboadam 2,011
For this problem not to arise again in the future, she will need a lengthy rest after the operation, maximum 6 months. The first step in the operation is to inject dye into her hip and then have an MRI scan to realise the full injury. Most people who have this operation are athletes and sports people, and most of them have to stop what sport they do for life (strenuous sports). She will also probably need to begin exercising during her recovery but it'll be nothing more than a light run or swimming (this is possible as soon as 2 months after surgery). Some people still feel pain up to 6 months after rehab and some people are painless a few weeks after surgery. ARTPOP is possible for release this year, but don't expect much dancing. Edit: we also don't know whether its a degenerative labral tear (occurs after long repetitive movements) or a traumatic (occurs during a fall, or sports). I'm sure she will have the best steroids available for treatment and also the best physiotherapists. Considering she said she's had this pain for a while, I would imagine it would be degenerative. Sleigh Mama 0
The tour has been going on for 8 months... why would they just stop 3 weeks before the end if it was due to financial reasons I feel extremely appreciative to have made it to the BTWB and I pray for a speedy recovery :worship2:
Katie14 4,828
Considering she said she's had this pain for a while, I would imagine it would be degenerative. I am concerned that she may have rheumatoid arthritis. Synovitis and labral tears can be symptoms of this. Rheumatoid arthritis is a progressive disease that can eventually leads to severe pain and inflammation, damage to bone, joint deformities, and immobility. "Arthritis" is very common and it doesn't sound like a serious disorder but for someone like Gaga, whose career depends on movement, a disease like this is devastating. It also doesn't usually stike people until their 50s or 60s. Edited February 14, 2013 by Katie14
