“Abracadabra” will officially impact US Pop Radio on February 11th as the 3rd official single from ‘Mayhem’. 

The song has already reached the Top 40 at the format.

It’s an “official” radio release date. Radio’s don’t need to wait till that day to play it, but record labels will usually send out an promo banner that it’s an official release and can play it.

I'm sure someone else can offer a better explanation, but from my understanding "impact date" is basically when songs get sent to radio, or when labels recommend they be added into rotation. For a song, of course, having an impact date helps so it gets added to radio stations at around the same time, maximizing its impact on sales and charts.

It pop terms it means that Interscope credit card didn't bounce and Bobby stop using grinder so he managed to secure a radio payola deal

How iconic that it's February 11th the day Born This Way single came out. And I remember that day because I had an urologist appointment and was terrified but excited about the song.  Everything was ok thank God.

Funny how at this very day I was serving as a soldier in my home country and went to an internet cafe during the day (which is forbidden) and army police caught me blasting Born This Way. To this very day I don't how I didn't go to jail.
