I appreciate that, and if that's how you want to describe yourself, feel free! I just think it's a bit of a dodgy description as it often reinforces the idea that bisexual people are either 'actually straight' or 'actually gay' and just pretending to be bisexual. I didn't mean to come across as snappy as I did, I just don't personally love that description. last.fm/user/ashfairfield
Killa 16,354
I didnt know doechii before the Katy perry feat honestly. She showed great charisma but Just watched the other day some videoclips from her, and they were really great. I dig her a lot. She has vision, talent attitude. If theres a remix with a rapper i wouldnt mind her with Gaga tò sing a few for a few bars. This discussion again about bi erasure, which Is a very sensitive topic. I understand but of now Just on One of these last interviews talker about the comunity and once again in the third person, as tò help them. Just saying, those were her words. She has Had different statements but thats now. Kisses
Bronco 7,571
Honestly I think part of the issue is the community's inability to support its own. A lot of gays invested in pop music culture are chart chasers, although the newer gen that grew up during the pop drought of the last 10 years are less so lol. And having been involved in a pride charity- the current LGBTQ+ disapora loves to do nothing except sit on the sidelines and tell the folks doing something that they aren't doing it right. The whole "we need sober social spaces"/less parties debate being a key example lol. Like look at Troye Sivan/Sam Smith as recent examples. Some of their biggest critics were gays demanding perfection instead of reality.
The Fame Monster 3,998
Oh wow! Didn’t know she was part of the community! I loved her Grammy speech and now I love her even more! Find your freedom in the music

Not erasing her bisexuality but I don't think she's had a relationship with a woman ever (or at least in the public eye). Sexuality can change so maybe she considers herself straight now? Now come on now, why are we trying to define anyones sexuality not our place or time
