Jill 28,015
Author Neil Gaiman was accused in a lawsuit on Monday of repeatedly raping his former babysitter, repeating allegations that were first raised in a Tortoise Media podcast last year. Scarlett Pavlovich also sued Gaiman’s wife, Amanda Palmer, alleging that she knew of his history of sexual misconduct when she hired Pavlovich to work for them. The suit accuses both Gaiman and Palmer of human trafficking. Gaiman and Palmer are alleged to have taken advantage of Pavlovich, knowing she was destitute and had suffered with mental health issues. At the time she went to work for them as a live-in nanny, the couple lived in separate houses on Waiheke Island, near Auckland, New Zealand. Read more Former First Lady of the United States. Ladle Ghoulash 16,984
Not really sure I buy that Palmer was involved in this tbh. EDIT: Having just read the suit, I retract what I originally said. IMO, the most suspicious thing Palmer did was suggest Gaiman give Pavlovich her movie ticket when it was clear she wouldn’t need to watch their kid and Palmer wasn’t going to go the movie the first night Gaiman allegedly took advantage of Pavlovich. Especially given that she was allegedly aware of his former accusations. Edited Tuesday at 03:29 AM by Ladle Ghoulash

Now my question is why tf did she sent her there then Former First Lady of the United States. Now card-carrying member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). hELXIG 41,980
WTF? I thought Neil Gaiman was meant to be 'one of the good ones'. I remember people on Tumblr used to always get excited that he'd be active on there replying to people. Jesus Christ Also so weird because I live about 2 hours drive from Waiheke Island and our work is planning to go stay there for our staff Christmas do in November I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. alsemanche 92,204
Geniunely one of the most infuriating things I've learned about recently. I used to admire his work so much. I hope the affected people get their deserved justice and that he and his wife rot in hell. Soft, soothing, and succulent

There've been almost a dozen women who've come forward about experiencing sexual assault, coercion, or straight up rape from him over the last 20ish years. They ranged from 18 to 25 years old at the time and he was 40 to 60. He specifically targeted fans. He's fúcking evil. Almost all of them mentioned being hesitant about coming forward against him because they knew he was supposedly a feminist and so beloved. Reginald 13,839
Having followed Amanda Palmer's music career for decades (even before Gaga debuted Where does the time go???) I have a really, really hard time believing she would knowingly put another woman in harm's way. I hope that once their divorce and child custody are settled, she can speak out. Edit: Just thinking back on her history, I can't even name all of the songs she's written that reference her own experiences with unwanted sexual contact. She's been talking about that subject since her band's debut album. I can definitely see Neil being a creep, but Amanda.. I just don't know, it's not adding up for me.
