CNN — President Donald Trump said Monday he agreed to “immediately pause” tariffs on Mexico for a month after a “very friendly” conversation with the country’s president, Claudia Sheinbaum.

“I just spoke with President Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico. It was a very friendly conversation wherein she agreed to immediately supply 10,000 Mexican Soldiers on the Border separating Mexico and the United States,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“These soldiers will be specifically designated to stop the flow of fentanyl, and illegal migrants into our Country,” he wrote.

Literally, they wont even speak of the fact that he was basically forced by another country to slow his roll. He came in all high and mighty thinking the Tariffs were gonna be a new normal. 
 

The only reason why he agreed to negotiate is because he probably was finally informed of how ****ed his reputation would be if the Tariffs really went into full effect. 

Because im sure this little negotiation they just had could have taken place under different circumstances. Like a less aggressive, more thoughtful approach. One that kept all citizens at its heart. At the end of the day these negotiations should be to better the lives of THE PEOPLE. 
 

Trump is literally FKN around and Finding out. Of course he is a master at weaving a narrative that diverges from reality. And his party is there to defend him to death.
