jacs vs looser 4,308
A DWAS performance would've been cute, but the song has already peaked, and its Grammy eligibility was for this year, so it would've gain very little. However, Abracadabra live would've slayed. Should've released song + video on Friday and perform on Sunday.
Brooke Hoegan 1,018
At this point it looks like starting from 2014 she thinks she still has to prove something by singing covers. I don't understand why she chooses to settle for that, she's still young. But of course, that's her choice...
HotLikeMexico 5,196
I mean DIE with a SMILE is a little insensitive with what’s going on right now.
Plastic Flower 5,065
Complaining about tributes after so many years… get over it. She’s NOT going to stop doing this. Drop it

Cavadour 2,393
I just torrented the feed rn. I didn't see it live yesterday. There's almost 5 minutes of wildfires footage, ruins, ppl sobbing and solidarity. Then, without transition, Gaga and Bruno performing California Dreaming. I really don't feel you can have better than that. Not only DWAS might have been totally not on point there, but Gaga & Bruno were the best ambassadors for L.A. in these circumstances. What an honor for them and everybody to get that beautiful cover of the M&P. Compassionnate and perfect Complaining here is a complete non-sense. Edited February 4 by Cavadour Late to the party but I got a diamond heart
Ivy 12,589
I'm sad about it because I know I would love that performance but her being sensitive is also why I love her, so I can't really complain about it Also like some already mentioned they could have made some bad headlines so it's better this way the meow in zombieboy
StrawberryBlond 14,881
Totally agree. Their cover was gorgeous, of course, but completely unnecessary and could've been performed anywhere, just not at the Grammys. Gaga already performed at the FireAid concert, she did her bit. It isn't fair that she was booked to do this when the song she's nominated for in a general field category is literally at #1. She should have been allowed to be perform it like every other major field nominee. If people are going to be unreasonably offended at the lyrics at a time like this, then the answer is simple: PERFORM DWAS AS A PERFORMANCE FOR ITS OWN SAKE, NOT AS A TRIBUTE! It's not rocket science. You can't help but think, as a fan, that there's some level of BS going on here, like they didn't want Gaga to be the big talked-about performance of the night. But they gave her an award for it, so that doesn't exactly line up. It just takes me back to the days when I saw Gaga as an extension of myself and lamented: "Why does nothing we plan ever work out for us? What are we doing wrong? Why did other people get a chance and not us?" You'd best believe they wouldn't treat Beyonce, Taylor or Adele like this. One of the biggest songs of the year deserves a Grammy performance. It's just common sense.
PartySick 160,603
Kidding But I hate that song so I'm glad it got paid dust. She got her #1, now it's time for Abracadiseasehem to f*ck our gay asses up You're stinky 1
NewYorkGirl 1,472
It would’ve been in bad taste to perform a song called “Die with a Smile” while people are losing everything they own. It’s a boring song for the GP to just absorb anyway. The fact it’s being forced onto the album is enough. My. Lawyer. Liked. That.
