Lmao it was a string of cities/venues that would allow black artists to perform and be relatively safe at during and after Jim Crow. It became a sort of rite of passage to go through it after a while. Nina Simone, early Jackson 5, Chuck Barry, Tina Turner are a few people who did the chitlin circuit to make a name for themselves.

So pissed. I got into the queue early, had plenty of opportunity to select seats but every time I attempted to check out, it said "Unfortunately, we were unable to complete the request on this device. Please make sure you are signed into your Ticketmaster account and try again or come back later."

Umm... I had to sign in to enter the queue. Super frustrating. Not that it'll result in tickets, but I sent an email to Ticketmaster to identify what happened.

This will happen if you are signed in on multiple devices (e.g. two computers, two mobiles, two apps, any combination of the above) and haven't actively logged out of one of the session

They only release a portion of tickets per presale date before the rest go up for the general sale, so she sold out the allotted tickets for today but not the whole venue.
