Abracadabra would’ve flopped given late 2024 context + dwas

I’m glad we got it now :vegas:

I feel the exact same way. I adore Disease and I would have expected it to be the bigger hit than Abracadabra

Tho again DWAS still rising and over shadowing it plus its release so close to Christmas freeze didnt help

But either way im happy either way we got another smash on our hands whether it be disease or Abracadabra

I know she probably wanted Disease to ride the success from Die With A Smile and Joker 2 and would’ve been the best but it is what it is. A great song released at a bad time just before Christmas break.

She was probably excited about LG7 and wanted to share with us a little bit of that so I’m grateful we got one of her best songs ever to close a great 2024.

This thread is so correct. The single roll out for this album was flawless.

I love Disease yet am genuinely shocked she topped it every aspect with Abracadabra.

To have the xmas break erase Abracadabra’s impact on hype? Naur. The grammys drop was insanely good like the promo out of our dreams, good.

I only felt this way after the slayage of Abracadabra and now that I see Disease getting it’s flowers again I’m not sad for ha anymore!

Look at it like this... If Abra was the lead, maybe Disease would've never been a single and that means no video. We got one more video this era...

Also, I think it was a great introduction to the era

Disease was a nice soft launch. Abra definitely took the spotlight but nonetheless it’s nice to see a solo Gaga song reach these heights again. Makes me so excited for the album!
