"you're over 30 and you're acting like a teen who just watched skins for the first time" and you're on a forum complaining about a vinyl record at your big age...

I'm not complaining solely about a record, as I mentioned she sold acessories FOR drug use as merch.

This is not marketing, it's full on promoting drug use for her fans.

Also you don't need to create nursery rhymes itsby bitsy cutesy songs in order to avoid talking about drugs, in fact many artists have mentioned their drug usage in their music and on media. But there's a clear difference between the way many people portray it to way Charli does.

I do despise her, as matter of fact, not only for promoting drug use but also for being a fake @ss activist while being friends with Dasha Nekrasova, a girl who dressed up gun targets as palestinians and has as a far-right podcast, and the gay community has been so desperate for a dumb idol that barely makes them think at all they're just taking anyone at this point without caring if that person actually cares or not.

I do not care for her promoting of drug use for it affecting me, I care for it can affect multiple people who consume her art and are influenced by her. People haven't been taking this issue seriously, and it shows how bad it is when you see the amount of people od'ing in the US and UK, in fact even famous people like Matthew Perry and Angus Cloud.

Anyway, can't wait for Charli to debut her Skid Row era.

Ok, so people here who struggle with adiction are not allowed to express how this make them feel without being dissmissed and told to chill out and politely shut up. Its not about individuals, is about about everyone and what this represents.

Of course they (you) are allowed to express how it makes you feel, but that's not what you did; you were calling it dangerous, disturbing, and disgusting. That's very different.

Substances aren't for you and that's fine. Great that you learned that about yourself and course corrected. It isn't real drugs, she's not making art for children, and she's not targeting anyone.

Again, its completely okay that it isn't for you. But to act like this is some big lapse in decency is hyperbolic. I'm sure that stems from your struggles and I sympathize with you that this is obviously a trigger for you, but that doesn't make your judgemental call correct. It's a cheeky design that references her lyrics, not an advertisement for people to go out and put stuff up their nose.

You're entitled to feel disgusted or disturbed because of your experiences, but that doesn't make the product disgusting or disturbing.

I don't understand the expectation of artists or entertainers to consider everyone's children if they aren't explicitly marketing their project towards them. That's not their job or any of their business.

This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

This is note cute or "iconic". It's pretty tasteless honestly. They keys and the lyrics are whatever, but powder substance is so tacky.

I've lost friends to fentanyl being laced in party supplies. I'm disappointed in her team for this, and more disappointed with the people here who think this is a "slay" and "iconic".

I see everyone’s opinions from both sides. Charlis album is a party record, and no matter what would have happened people would be shovelling sh*t up their noses no matter what at a Charli club. That’s the kind of music people do it with. I also understand how it looks like Charli does look like she’s promoting it and that’s a bit icky.
No one really wants to be around coke heads and it’s understandable for people to be strongly against it.

Is she being financed by some drug lord or what? there's a lot of effort lately to normalize hard drug on the mainstream lately.

And after reading some comments here, If you consume, I hope you enjoy being an active part and funding a "industry" that screw a lot of innocent lifes, ruin cities, and takes a lot of lives in very inhuman ways, you are not innocent, you are part of the problem too.

It's not only a powder you need to consume to feel being worth of something, there's a lot of problems behind.
