I have nothing against the cover. I like it. But the vinyl itself could be more interesting. Add a little splatter or make it orange at least.

I initially DESPISED The Born This Way cover and now think it’s genius. So I’m not good at judging a book by its cover. 

It’s growing on me, and I think it will make sense overtime.

Don’t really know why people have gotten into such a thing about this cover. In this current day and age of multiple variants, who honestly even cares if the ‘main’ one isn’t your fave? Each cover represents a different take on a similar concept. There’s something for everyone to get out of it, even if you’re not a fan of the first one.

I don’t love or hate it, I’m a bit indifferent toward it. I actually have a similar feeling towards the whole photoshoot as well as the ELLE magazine one  But I do love the alternative cover. I’m not mad tho cause I know the music will deliver big time, and I just trust Gaga’s vision.

I honestly hate how normalized this has become. It just cheapens the albums even further and the industry already treats music like a product to begin with.

Idc how the cover looks, I just want it to mean something. And when you've got a dozen or more different images as the face of the album it's clear that none of them mean anything at all.

I’m just glad we have the alt cover on vinyl because I love that one a lot so I’m fine about it

Yes - the broken mirror and distortion are essential for me, to add that mayhem edge and meaning. 
 

In time we will look at this cover in a godly light, if the music delivers on all the hype emerging……. Like all good art, give it time to breathe

Honestly I’m torn. I respect and admire her mind and artistry so I feel if this is the one she chose for main cover then I should give it time. I do like it. But it doesn’t make me excited.

I actually like the alternate cover she has on her store. Then again the simplicity of the main one might work best with the music, time will tell. I remember people saying the BTW main cover was crap yet for me it’s truly iconic. I also love the Joanne cover even though many people didn’t or don’t.

I don't mean to be rude, but I cannot grasp WHY ON EARTH they chose the standard picture instead of the any of the alternative ones  Any of them is way more interesting. I'm definitely buying the physical CD, but i will print my own booklet if CDs with the alternative covers (or at least one of them) aren't sold.  

I mean, compare the Mayhem cover with the Chromatica one...

This could be recency bias or the fact that it's my first time experiencing an album rollout (besides harlequin) but I absolutely lovvvee it. The simplicity and "blandness" of it makes it much more enticing imo. Oh and some people complaining abt the wig girl its my favorite part
