The more I think about it, the more I realize how culturally impactful ARTPOP was.

Sure, Gaga’s image was hurting and her past numbers didn’t help her case, but ARTPOP really was a significant moment not just in retrospective but back in the day.

One of the last culturally impactful eras if I dare to say it.

Put aside that as well the fact is that every album had 1-2 hits.
ARTPOP had the smash Applause and DWYW

Joanne only had one but a pretty big hit MR

and Chromatica had small hit SL and bigger hit ROM

all those album sold over half a million. Those are no flops. She is just held at such high standards.

ARTPOP

I'm convinced she's going to include some ARTPOP for The MAYHEM Ball which I feel could lead to a chain reaction of sorts.

Despite what haters say it's a very unique and hyperactive blend of hard, edm/electronica music.

It'll get its flowers 💐

Maybe :poot:

I am a tad dissapointed she left 3 album out; Applause would be nice to hear and instead of Shallow for the 1000000000000th time how about Million Reasons as a ballad? Or if she only wants to include her first 3 albums then TEOG as a ballad piano. I love Shallow but enough. I actually liked she switched it up to ARUTW.

It was never that good. The video and the numbers saved it in the fans’ minds, but the GP doesn’t remember about it

We were in lockdown AND hadn't had a Dance Ga bop in 7 years.

They didn't add the jazz albums but c2c won a Grammy and a Japan Gold Disc Award.

But apparently they added Hold My Hand to the MAYHEM era :cryga:

And many more awards to come for that last row :anveeroy:

This Abra SOTY/ROTY discussion made me forget for a second that we already won a Grammy for MAYHEM :traumatica:

That's not true. It is one of the most recent dance bop that people remember Gaga for, before Abra

The lack of exposure (live performance) over time hurts its longevity. Same goes to songs like Applause, MR, TEOG, Y&I etc

Joanne era had the cute little hit 'The Cure'. Though it is not on the album, it was dropped around that time

I reaaaallllly hope it stays stable on radio...... I know this is a super long shot.... but if abracadabra can stay relevant into september(4 more months) we could be looking at a monster halloween hit on our hands. Super unlikely, but it would be the anthem for the year for sure imo.

After all these positive radio update i don't even want another single :bradley: And I know I'm going to be dragged but ViY and GoE are not performing that well and I can't see a world where they would make a bigger impact on the charts than Abra, ViY time has come and go I fear, and i don't trust the USA, just look at the current top 10. :ladyhaha:

Now, dead dance... :stalkga:
