I may be wrong but only lead singles are getting big deals at launch (like Disease), we trully need to see the Abracadabra as a 2nd / 3rd single that will need to fight and earn for its stability and growth (just like MR, DWUW, Alejandro / Telephone) et the time

That said I totally agree on the fact a performance would help A LOT to keep the buzz aspect of the song

cute tbh, wish I had that optimism but felt that with Disease too and instead I got a bucket of cold water thrown at me  but rn, with how billboard works (radio having too much power), getting already a top 10 after the album drops will be a big win

idk i guess im not too worried bc the album will really help the song. I feel like the reason that abra is falling so much is because it is one of the only dance/electronic songs in the top 50 of global spotify and because dance/electronic music isn't as popular right now, the song sounds out of place when listening to music. I feel like the song will get a boost and gain stability when the album comes out because then people will be able to listen to an entire album of dance/electronic music all at once.

This kinda happened with brat, no song was doing that amazing until the album released and went viral bc it was a better experience to listen to an entire album of dance songs.

Maybe, but only if they do sometihing to boost it... a performance and physicals but only when it has more airplay. They need to find a way to boost streams so they don't keep decreasing tho. Let's see how it does during the week. There are many late night shows, a cute performance wouldn't be bad

"Abracadabra" jumps from #28 to #5 (+23) on the Schweizer Hitparade (Switzerland's official chart). It becomes Gaga's 18th top 10 hit in the country. First solo since "Hold My Hand" (also #5 in 2022).

"Die with a Smile" is up to #2 (+1).

I think It's fine to have promo spread out.

 

I actually love that Gaga is performing non-mayhem stuff, it feels EXEMPLARY of the fact that she is an icon, and feels like a brilliant move to continue bringing the GP back into the fold.
 

Of course, I think performing Abracaslaydra would be amazing and help the song.

I feel she is consciously playing for longterm right now, which we can see in her growing catalogue streaming numbers and the rise on positive gaga vibes online. 

Will she sacrifice Abracadabra's moment to peak early? Maybe. Longterm? I doubt it.

An early peack is unnecessary. It would be very sad to have it go #5 now and then never make it back to the top 10. This way we can watch it rise
