In fact, it’s not the opposition to him that got Trump elected, it’s the normalization of him and his policies by the online manosphere that got him an advantage with young men. It was also the constant bullying of minorities and painting them in a bad light that has also radicalized a generation of men to lose respect for them. Hate crimes are up and it’s for a reason. These men didn’t learn it in a vacuum. The internet is full of hateful propaganda. Particularly against women too which has moved men to the right. 

I live in the south. Almost everyone I know voted for Trump. I’ve never lost a friend because of who I’ve voted for but I know plenty of republicans who have. We aren’t going to spread tolerance by being more intolerant. I can dislike Trump and not dislike people who voted for him at the same time. When I talk about things trump has done with my republican friends/family, they listen to me and we have a discussion. They won’t listen to people who just shun them. And again, we our the minority right now, trump earned the popular vote. We need to be heard more than ever and isolating ourselves won’t do that.

They do not. Don't ever think that. Final election results: 49.9% for Trump, by far his high point. That's a plurality, not a majority. Even that doesn't reflect Trump approval, just Biden/Harris/status quo disapproval.

We're not going to win them over period. The sooner you realize that, the sooner you don't have to hold yourself to this ridiculous standard. If they're not swayed by what was said and is already happening, they were never moderate to begin with.

It sounds an awful lot like they're getting to you more than you're getting to them. Like I don't understand how you can look at the changes that have happened over the last few days and not be pissed off at them.
