Fantastic production, great vocals, live instruments!!!, feeling both fresh and nostalgic... I am hooked so far. I just don't enjoy much the funky track as much as I wishes, but I am sure that they will grow on me. The closing 3 tracks elevate the album just so nicely, the first 5 tracks are flawless... 

It is a dense album. I think people need time to fully embrace it.

Has anybody disliked the album upon first listen but is now starting to come around?

I just can’t get into it and it’s making me feel sad. I’ve been looking forward to this album for years. I want to love it.

Yes, it took a couple listens for me to fully appreciate it, first listen I wasn't feeling it completely, but now it's in my top 2/3 albums, definitely right up there with tfm and btw for me.

Its normal. Is super fresh, just came out. People were expecting each something else of Mayhem, but after many listens they will figure out that Mayhem IS her magnum opus, a masterpiece.
