Does the countdown on her website suggest that the album will actually be out on streaming globally at the same time, midnight ET on Friday? And not midnight locally as we thought.

well the spotify countdown is the most reliable cause that's when it's actually set for release, the website countdown is probably just one timezone

Well no. The countdown is for the American release obviously, why would it be counting down to New Zealand’s drop?

it's counting down to midnight local time. it's not an american timed release.
