I don’t see why Vanish Into You would be surprise released when Abra just came out 3 weeks ago. Singles always last longer than that. I can’t imagine she’d move on so quickly.

It would be a promo-single, she used to do it all the time. It wouldn't be sent to radio to compete as another single.

I was checking Tate's site and noticed her new album also comes in cassette format.

Then I remembered that I own a Chromatica cassette and was wondering why they're not releasing Mayhem on cassette this time around?

Target edition, nope. Nothing ever released on streaming. 

Store exclusive, not likely. The exclusive song is promoted as store exclusive hard copy, if she breached this, then it will be false advertising

Let’s hope it’s bad then..? 🥲 sometimes with vinyls they include a download code, it would be lovely if they’d consider that since they actually sell the Deluxe this time around as physical as well.

Because the official promo sticker on the album said something along the lines of “Includes the hit singles Disease, Abracadabra, and Vanish Into You”

she won't necessarily abandon Abracadabra as there's still some promo left for that song with SNL, that commercial that's apparently a big deal + the iheartradio awards thing maybe

you can push multiple songs at the same time in the streaming era and it's actually the right thing to do to ensure longevity... Billie did it, Sabrina as well!
