Okay, im on my third listen and I’m kind of shocked how different it is from the singles but that’s not a bad thing at all

disease and Abra - obvious singles to feed the gays, i also think that they were kind of made to bait the gays into thinking that the album will sound just like them haha

Eden- i love the obvious callback to y2k music - the verses sound like maneater by Nelly Furtado, super catchy and it needed to be a single like yesterday, it could become a huge hit

PC - absolute perfection, my favourite song on the album, its like Hole and Nine Inch Nails had a baby with a hint of cocaine 

VIY - ngl i Think It’s the worst song on the album, i love the vocals and lyrics but it kind of gives eurovision - i like some of the production choices but its not the best overall

killah is sooooo different but so good, this is a love letter to Bowie but with a modern twist, love it

zombieboy - it sounds like her pre-fame days very gwen stefani coded, i like it a lot but idk if its a single material, maybe im just gay and clueless 

lovedrug - super catchy, i love the 80s synths and the ,,i just need a dose of the right stuff” part its very memorable

HBDUWM - i loooooove it, its literally a ,,Lover” album outtake( as a semi-former swiftie i say it as a compliment) - also if she wants an instant no.1 a remix with taylor would do the trick  also has the same sensibilities as ally songs from ASIB

dont call tonight - love the vocals, the vocoder part slaps but it kind of lacks character- its 30% The Weeknd, 30% Tina Turner, 30% Alejandro

SOAM - another obvious standout, its amazing, perfect but i really thought it was going for a dsrker sound, still love it tho

Beast - i love the guitar solo, it kind of reminds me of Dirty Diana by MJ, adore the chorus, the verses are weaker for sure 

BOG - its a nice ballad, the vocals and lyrics are great, i knew most of the gays would hate it, but its a nice song but maybe the second weakest next to Vanish Into You

DWAS - fastest song to reach 2B streams on Spotify

overall, a very solid album that solidifies her legacy, but its also fresh, full of different flavours and also reminds me of her quote: ,, when people say that they know who lady gaga is, im here to remind them that they dont” ( and also it shows us that we should never put her and Katy Perry’s name in the same sentence)

i dont Think it will be a huge hit overall, but there are some songs that could easily become huuuuge, if they play their cards right

To be honest, after disease and abracadabra I asked myself whether that is all that Mayhem would bring - I kind of dreaded the idea that we’d only be getting club bangers and dark pop

I am RELIEVED for 80s throwback authentic happy Gaga! Mayhem is my instant fave - I’m getting to know and understand Gaga better and more than ever before and I love her even more for being her true self (didn’t think that was possible).

She literally said Bowie and Prince had huge influences on this album, none of which were in the two/three singles. So I don’t know why some of yall expected anything different

Uhm… so I just heard Kill For Love and I cannot believe this is a freaking target exclusive because why is it better than some of the ones on the standard version???
