Nothing as bad as Fun Tonight or Plastic Doll, but a couple come close. Mainly, "Vanish Into You" and "LoveDrug."

And the three ballads at the end are totally boring and forgettable, to me at least. (I hardly ever like pop ballads, tho.)

I don’t quite get the comparisons of it to TFM, if anything it’s giving me more BTW vibes with the guitar and vocals.

Anyways, it’s literally SO GOOD!!! her vocals, the production, everything is so cohesive!!!

so much funkier and less electronic than what I thought it’s gonna be.

And after hearing the full thing, I am certain DWAS wasn’t part of the album from the beginning but a stand alone that didn’t fit the album sonically, BOG was the final song, and it sound like that, very epic.

Fave atm : Zombieboy, Perfect Celebrity, The Beast, Killah

I wanna like Shadow of a Man so bad but the entire song is so different from what I was expecting with the snippet...

The new album is decent, at least better than Chromatica.

It feels a bit, like its title “Mayhem”, incohesive, but there’s almost no skip for me. The whole album sounds very 2000s/1980s.

The best songs for me are Abracadbra, DWAS, Shadow of A Man, Disease, and Garden of Eden. Zombieboy and Vanish Into You are also great. Love the melodies but dislike the production and voice(tight/rough) on some tracks.

Very curious to see how GP react. I don’t see it win any pop Grammys, but a nom for pop album is safe.

I wish the "That girl in your head ain't real / How bad do you want me, for real" in "HBDUWM" was a hook that got repeated, like the "don't be a drag/just be a queen" hook from BTW. 

I also wish "Shadow of a Man" used the stutter-y/chopped "Dance in the shadow of a ma-ah-ah-an" bit we hear in the intro (TCB snippet) for the entire rest of the song. It sounds so much more Gaga in that rah-rah-rah-ah-ah way.

Hopefully we'll get fan edits (hello, Haus of Afrodita?) soon.
