XxBones 1,045
I am still waiting to hear the album but I am hearing lots of mixed or reviews that say the album was unexpected. Those that listened to MAYHEM and get it and understand the inspirations what are some songs I should listen to prepare while I wait to hear it? From any artists. I want to listen to things that have a similar vibe. Are the songs on Gaga Radio clearly inspired?
BLOODANDSEMEN 315
I'd listen to D.A.N.C.E. by Justice, Daft Punk, David Bowie, Thriller by MJ, and maybe some Queen songs. ALSO: Prince and Chic. Her delivery and general energy just SCREAMS late 80s/early 90s MJ to me throughout the whole album die with a skip🧍♂️ 4 3 1
rinasawachanta 2,772
What I expected: Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, The Cure What I got: Gwen Stefani (No Doubt), Bowie, Prince, Daft Punk, George Michael, Michael Jackson, Chic, Yazoo, Stefani Germanotta (yes!) and... Spoiler ... Taylor Swift Yes, I'm referring to that song. But beyond that song it's an excellent album, you're going to enjoy it a lot! It does have an unexpected sound, much clearer, lighter, irreverent and funnier than I would have imagined. If you ask me, I would have wished for something MUCH more somber, but I'm happy anyway. The album has NOTHING to do with the visual aesthetic of the album and videos we know so far. Edit: and this one for me was a big inspiration for my personal favorite of the album, which shares part of the name Edited 2 hours ago by rinasawachanta 5

Ladle Ghoulash 17,899
In a way, it feels very pre-The Fame Gaga: bombastic, groovy 70s/80s inspired pop tunes with a rocker flair. Let’s just say 🗣️ I’m CREAMING 🥛 in my CORN 🌽
