The cover looks iconic, I don’t know what’s so disliked about it. Everyone hated BTW’s cover (and I still do), but I don’t see anyone hating on it anymore. Just see how things go and enjoy the ride.

This would have worked WAY better as the album cover.

Sorry but the one we have looks sooooo basic. If confirmed, her less iconic album cover BY FAR. Sad

Well… to me it is detail focused.. like her gaze, the texture of the thing she's wearing, seen on her shoulder, the blurry/cracked mirror effect is insaaane to me, and I can’t wait to see what it stands for. The simplicity makes you focus on every separate aspect of the image imo

I loved the Joanne cover because it reflected the music very well, simple and toned down but this one ?? Your album is called mayhem ma'am

After Chromatica, it makes logical sense to go in the opposite direction when it comes to the aesthetic. Chromatica was so maximalist and had so many chrome and metal elements. Stripping it back more for LG7 helps it to stand out. 
 

I do need to see this concept fleshed out more beyond this headshot though.

Not meaning the countdown but the news is already everywhere and she hasn't even posted about it... I would have loved her to be the first to announce the release date...

Anyway maybe she will announce single or tracklist pr anything more ?

I swear to god, unless she has a million things going on, posing upside down and screaming on her album covers, you guys get bored  Whatever happened to analysing and trying to understand what a photograph is conveying. Not everything has to be a Marvel movie, the girl likes The colour of pomegranates ffs. Nothing is easy or not thought through. Simple does not equate empty. C’moooon gays

first of all I’m glad it’s announced and we know when it’s coming (and when it’s not anymore lol but honestly I think it’s better because they probably used the extra week for promo)

the cover IS a choice by all means. it’s not an ugly cover but it’s B&W and is just very stripped back and they’re really going for a more contrived music not the bling and I will respect the choice because the album is probably packing a big punch judging from Disease.

we wanted full body? yes? fashion, wigs & accessories? yes 

but honestly we’ve got what we didn’t want before especially Joanne and it somehow worked so I’m still confident about being surprised.

it’s OBVIOUS that she wants to explore new aesthetics to match the music so I am just gonna sit and wait
