All countries are homophobic and is illegal for you to be Gay, unless were talking about America and Europe. Even America and Europe are homophobic but to a lesser extent.

I'm not from America or Europe and its not illegal to be gay in my country. I think the online homophobes are everywhere but when you go outside, meet actual people, and visit other countries (some not all) they're not as anti-Gay as they are portrayed to be.

I always travel to attend concerts, but im glad now I can enjoy them in my own country

Well I did not mean literally every single country thats not America and Europe, but generally speaking, 99% of the world have homophobic laws. Even America only got rid of its homophobic laws a couple of years ago, isnt that why Gaga wore the meat dress? America still has laws saying its illegal to be Gay in some states, even though the law is not practiced. Not to mention how extremely homophobic the American culture is, and if America is culturally homophobic, obviously the rest of the world is also homophobic.

She is not singing for the government, shes singing for the people and fans. If a foreign singer performs in America, does that mean they are supporting Americas foreign policy?

Im a fan living in the Middle East, and I want the chance to see my favorite artists without traveling 17 hours.

Relax, I love xtina, I was making a little joke :laughga:

it’s funny how she’s an LGBT icon and Russia and Saudi Arabia forget about that and let her perform freely, it’s like a drag queen performing in a Republican Party, the contradiction is really funny,

I’m the first to support divas going to other countries outside U.S./Can/UE

I don’t know how to explain to you the difference between it not being legal to get married in the US until 2015 and countries that have laws on the books stating that gay people are to be put to death.

also, most of the time, when pop singers go to sing in the Middle East it is not for a concert that anybody can buy tickets to. This being an example. They are usually being paid exorbitant amounts of money by the oligarchs to play a show for other rich people.

Am I the only one that find these things twisted . They are saying that they are lgbt activists then perform in the homophobic countries that has a law that they will be killed . Then , they are saying that they don't use it for their advantages . I am so sick of that liar behaviour . Especially Beyonce who has a strict image of feminism like u are not a real feminist behave urself . And then people are like u are being funny . No , I am not .

70% of Americans are in favor of gay marriage, including the incoming republican president, and there has never been laws on the books in the US stating that gay people are to be put to death the way there are in many Middle Eastern countries til this day.

No I do understand the difference, im just challenging the logic.

Most artists that come to Saudi have open tickets for the public, they usually come during the Riyadh season, which thousands of people can attend. But just like every country in the world, there are smaller events open to the public, but its more expensive.

The logic is that your life is more serious than marriage equality :triggered:
