I wouldn’t say this period completely stopped as soon as she became famous… There has been a lot of behind-the-scenes (and public) messiness of that kind up until she moved away from NY post-ARTPOP. This is why some fans nickname him "Nebraska Guy" to avoid using his identity. I don't know what exactly could be done, but maybe feature this comment so people give him privacy? Before people try to make this seem like something it's not, I am not defending any bad behaviors of his when he was with Lady Gaga. I just think this is important to share. I'm confused because I haven't seen anyone mention a guy's name? she/her/hers
Ivy 12,256
I literally remember this story being told before?? But I totally believe it, and this is why she has sympathy and love for her messy fanbase the meow in zombieboy

Siena 6,204
Yeah this 100% checks out. But as we know she was going through a pretty sh*tty situation during this time so I’m not at all surprised she was a bit of a mess. cherrypie5 7
From the book "Rivington Was Ours": “Because he doesn’t get it. He doesn’t get that this is my job. The first time he came over to my apartment he looked around—you know he has that drafty place with a roommate in Red Hook—and when he saw that I had my own place the first thing he thought was it was because of Daddy.” She mentioned her father not in the patrician manner of girls who never grow up, but rather in the manner of looking down on those types. “And it wasn’t?” “No. I’ve had two record deals and gotten booed off stage and passed out demos and done back-to-back auditions and he doesn’t see that. He just thinks it’s Daddy."

Puddin 1,203
I am SO fascinated with Gaga’s early days in the Lower East Side. It’s admirable how she was a mess and still managed to be disciplined enough to make her dreams come true. Nothing and no one was going to take it away from her. 3 2

I'm always trying to find more info/pics from that time period and this tiktoker made me love her even more, coz it's kinda relatable to my early 20's She was a true warrior, and the MTN music video is not hyperbolic at all The melody that you choose can rescue you 3

You’re upset that she gave liquor to a 20 year old? She would be 21 in a year I don’t think it’s that serious Edited January 13 by BUtterfield 8
GreenEyes 1,030
Idk I just think it’s odd she’s posting this almost 20 years later, saying in the comments she hates Gaga and has her blocked on all social media. Lmao okay girly but you can go on and on about how messy a 20yo girl is? The stories are funny but you would think the girl would be over it by now.

Underage drinking was unfortunately common back in 2000s. Club owners and bouncers didn’t care because they wanted the young crowd
