The UK is part of the English speaking world and so are other European countries where English is widely spoken. 

This isn’t up for debate. It’s a fact that US, USA, and America are used interchangeably around the world. 

Whether you like it or not is a different subject. 

Two things can also be true at once.

1. “America” is used to mean USA by groups in the world 

2. “America” refers to the American continent

People call countries/regions/continents different things in different languages and that's okay. 

Also I'm not sure why Americans aren't allowed to decide what to call themselves. It's their country. 

If you ask Google to name the continents in English and Spanish it gives you different answers or variations. 

In English it says North and South America. 

In Spanish it also does but notes America is considered one

And also some models consider Australia a continent vs Oceania

A Nepalese is as much Asian as a Korean. All Middle Easterns are also Asian lol so are Indians.

Well, that wikipedia article was not written 500 years ago, was it? . Human history doesn't change based on language, or personal preference based on ignorance. 

America is a continent, and the word doesn't even originally refer to the area the US is located in, lol. If you can be familiar with the concept of "East Asia", it shouldn't be that hard to get around "South America/North America", it's the same thing, lol. 

It's funny how suddenly they become lil US zionists when u strip down their bigotry, superiority and racism, it's funny how this is supposed to be the only colonization that we should accept because "history has passed", while they still do the best to walk on and erase every other American country in the continent.

"America" refers to two continents, North and South America. Regardless of language, we can still call America as a group of two continents.

How are US and Canada any different from that  Both the continents are overwhelmingly populated by people of European descent and we know what happened to the natives of both continents.

My take on the original matter. Mexico should be more bothered about renaming of the gulf than us and I don't think Trump will do every single thing he says for clout.
