Let's not pretend these are comparable accomplishments. I don't count Nicki's features as Nicki's #1s so in my own little reality DWAS is not Gaga's #1 but Bruno's.

If we were counting songs artists are featured on, like Gaga is on DWAS, Janet would have numerous number 1s in every decade since her debut.

I will REMAIN salty and grossed out by this song and how her PR/artistry is being handled right now.

But 'grats on the charts success, sis. Everybody say "Thank you, Bruno!" :vegas:

Sorry, but do you see the song anywhere mentioned as Bruno ft. Gaga? Isnt the official artist description Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars? On which youtube page is the video posted? Brunos? Dont think so.

Are you gonna say Gaga was also a feature on Rain on me, and it only went #1 because of Ariana?

Spill bestie. She’s so uninteresting to young generations (and old fans surely aren’t enough of a streaming force) that her solo material is basically ignored everytime it gets released. Unless it’s attached to a movie like ARUTW (and not always, see HMH…). She should be working on building an appealing image, not doing these duets with more gp-loved people like  Bruno, Tony, Hans Zimmer, Ariana Grande etc. to stay relevant. But if she’s happy:chica:

I just want her to make the music she wants to make instead of deciding what her album will sound like based on what will sell best.

I'm not here for that fake sh*t. Might as well go stan Taylor Swift at that point :toofunny:

She's filthy stinking rich. There's no reason for her to be writing for the charts at this point in her career but here we are.

Thank you. Your post serves merely to further highlight the fact that Gaga's accomplishment is greater than both Michael's and Janet's, because she hasn't had the advantage of being a Jackson.

She is also therefore the ONLY non-Jackson artist ever to achieve multiple number 1's in three separate decades.

And she is also the ONLY artist (Jackson or non-Jackson) ever to achieve multiple number 1's in three separate decades of the 21st century.

Also Gaga hasn't had to resort to singing about animals to get her number 1's.

I kinda understand her tho. I think Harlequin was the project she wanted to make the most and look how it went: biggest flop in her career. Happy Mistake is probably her best song in years and miles above Chromatica, I’m not surprised she decided to add DWAS to an industrial/electronic album (and probably changed most of the tracklist) just to make it more gp-friendly.

About LG7, I don’t think that’s the music she really wanted to make. I think she found out that’s what fans wanted, saw Judas, Government Hooker and Bloody Mary go viral on Tiktok and thought it was time for another dark electropop album. It’s giving pure fanservice, yet it will end up doing much less than Chromatica:dry:at this point she should just work on building a honest fanbase showing her real personality/artistry and then proceed to go in the studio to make the stuff she wants.

Not you missing the entire point just to “defend” Gaga :rip:

I’m a fan of all three and you trying to diminish Gaga’s achievement is so pathetic, honestly. Die With A Smile is a Lady Gaga AND Bruno Mars song. If you don’t want to consider it as such in your own mind, then that’s a YOU problem. Sure, the number of #1 hits overall might be less than MJ and Janet, but the fact that Gaga has been able to have multiple #1’s, collaborations or not, in multiple decades speaks to the versatility of her talents over many years. It’s so sad that you are trying to tear her down when she’s literally just creating and doing an amazing job at it. You are free to remain as pressed and “salty” as you want, but spewing hatred on Gaga and diminishing her accomplishments just for the sake of your own satisfaction is more a reflection of you than her. If you are that upset with Gaga and her management, maybe just support a different artist instead of word vomiting negativity.

We get it you don't like DWAS. Do remain salty and grossed but keep it to yourself and let everyone else celebrate it :flippy:
