Y'all are trying to drag her but there's literally no defending that movie. It was a flop of historic proportions :bradley:

Not even trying to drag but I literally have no idea who this is

Haha it made me chuckle. Total shade, but shes a comedian and roasts people for a living. If you listen to the whole opening monologue you’d think it was funny too. Breathe easy yall haha

Some jokes cut from Nikki Glaser’s Golden Globes monologue (via The Howard Stern Show):

• “I saw ‘Joker 2’ and, you know, it reminded me of when the first Joker came out and I was in the theaters and I was afraid someone was going to shoot it up. And then during ‘Joker 2,’ I was really hoping they would.”

lmao this is funny and ballsy, even if i love the movie i can laugh at clever jokes of people who hated it, the fact that she scrapped this and decided to go with the cheap, superficial and unfunny joke at the ceremony is tragic

That's not really what destroyed him tbh. The burn, subsequent lifelong drug addiction, and the pure stress from the false allegations that haunted him so badly he abandoned Neverland after his acquittal are what killed him.

And even that last part was just due to his own childhood trauma which made him seek out surrogate families while trying to recapture the developmental phase of his childhood that he spent singing for his dad in strip joints and clubs.

The charity work enriched him as a person and made the world a better place. Who knows how many lives he saved or changed for the better. He gave untold hundreds of millions to charity throughout his career and still lived a lavish life of luxury. There's really no excuse for anyone else.

It's like I said last night, it takes a certain level of inhumanity to get as rich as Gaga and STAY that rich.

Anyway, I don't really care that much about it to keep talking in circles. It's my opinion, share it or don't, that's Alright.mp3 with me.

I don't vibe with blaming consumers though. It gives "you complain about society and yet you live in society hmmm" vibes. We're all out here working our silly little 9-5 jobs doing whatever we can for enrichment in our lives dictated by the rich and powerful. Nothing less than a total violent, bloody uprising will change that and since that won't happen, and we can't rely on people like Gaga to redistribute their massive fortunes (she's far from the worst but she's still one of them), we at least retain the right to bitch about how unfair it all is :vegas:

Universal wealth cap now! (Honestly I am so sick of rich parasites and was hoping Gaga won’t reach billionaire status)

do i need to understand a pineapple to eat a banana

Lmao if this is true, it solidified my love for Nikki. She’s such a good comedian even tho she watered-down her persona for the globes.

I love that you can tell who’s a fan of roast comedians and who’s not in this very thread. She doesn’t hate Gaga yet y’all are acting like she said she hated Gaga lol

Honestly the broadcaster probably forced her to water it down

Never heard of her but I think she was good. It was a 10 minute slot and she spoke about JFAD for about 10 seconds. At least it was considered worthy of a mention.

For the record JFAD is actually a good movie, but we live in a world where 70m people voted for a guy who tried to overturn the results of the previous election, so  ... I don't know ...things are as they are.

And by the way she also mentioned that in her monologue which was hilarious and on point 🙏

How is it ballsy to go along with the crowd tho? It's like the opposite imo
