The US is already an oligarchy and has been one for at least the past 100 years. If you live in any third world country this is a very obvious fact. I can't with Americans thinking their country is just now descending into fascism just because their ruling class has been ramping up their hostility towards their own citizens. Meanwhile they remained silent throughout recent, quite evident imperialist behavior, like the War on Terror and the wars in Ukraine and Palestine. But they remained silent because it wasn't as noticeable domestically. Now, after all of that suffering, they are beginning to complain because it is happening to them. A classic example of imperial boomerang. Former First Lady of the United States. Now card-carrying member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). If it weren’t for the Internet and social media, we’d be none the wiser on how corrupt the system is. Whether you like or hate Trump, the one thing we can all hope for is that he puts term limits, stops government insider trading, and a few other things to screw over the Washington establishment and restore some fairness in our system.
